Job summary

MyCareernet is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise-grade cloud and on-prem platforms. You will lead design of reusable services, automation frameworks, and secure, scalable platform patterns across Kubernetes, AWS, and hybrid environments.

You will mentor teams, contribute to platform roadmaps, and drive modernization initiatives, with a focus on automation, observability, and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 8–13 years of experience in Platform/Cloud/DevOps roles.
• Hands-on with DevOps practices across cloud and infrastructure.
• Kubernetes, AWS, and IaC experience required.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, build and operate enterprise AWS and Kubernetes platform capabilities for cloud, hybrid, on-premises and edge environments.
• Lead technical design and implementation of reusable platform services, automation frameworks and operational capabilities.
• Establish scalable platform patterns covering cluster lifecycle management, networking, storage, security, secrets, certificates, observability, backup and recovery.
• Develop repeatable Infrastructure as Code and container platform deployment patterns that improve consistency, supportability and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams and contribute to platform roadmaps, architecture reviews and modernization programs.

Skills Required:

• 8 - 13 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with DevOps practices and enterprise platform engineering across cloud and infrastructure environments.
• Advanced Kubernetes experience, including cluster lifecycle management, scaling, networking, ingress, storage integration, security controls and platform operations.
• Practical AWS Cloud experience building highly available, secure and scalable infrastructure and platform solutions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and containerization using technologies such as Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.

Good to Have:

• Cloud computing and enterprise orchestration experience, including GitOps, Argo CD, Helm, platform automation or distributed edge environments.
• Experience with artificial intelligence, AI/ML platforms, Agentic AI or Copilot technologies.

Education:

B.E. in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
