Job summary

Appsierra Group seeks a Principal .NET Backend Engineer to design and build enterprise-scale backend systems using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Microsoft Azure. You will lead architecture discussions and mentor engineers while delivering scalable, secure services.

You will own system design for microservices on Azure, oversee REST and event-driven APIs, and collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, AKS, and cloud infrastructure to drive performance and reliability.

Qualifications

We are seeking a Principal .NET Backend Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-scale backend applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Microsoft Azure, while leading architecture discussions and technical mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Architect cloud-native Microservices and Distributed Systems on Microsoft Azure.
• Design secure, high-performance REST APIs and event-driven applications.
• Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
• Design and implement messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, AKS deployments, and cloud infrastructure.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Review AI-generated code and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in .NET backend development.
