Job summary

Ameriprise India LLP seeks a senior Middleware professional to lead frontline activities and add value to current processes. The role covers containerized applications on Kubernetes, Docker, Apache, Tomcat, WAS and IIS, with AWS EKS and security-focused incident response in a production environment.

The lead will coordinate with vendors, implement detailed designs, and ensure uptime and performance while managing rotational shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with container orchestration and middleware in production environments.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating with vendor/contractor partners.
• Strong knowledge of security, uptime and performance in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Middleware Tier 2.5 support for containerized apps on Kubernetes, Docker, Apache, Tomcat, WAS, IIS, and AWS EKS.
• Lead incident response and proactive monitoring to resolve complex issues.

Job Description

This is a lead position for which we want the candidate to be able to lead from the front and pioneer activities/tasks in the team. Add value to our current processes.

The resource will provide Middleware Tier 2.5 level of support and will support the containerized applications running on Kubernetes, Dockers, Apache, Tomcat, WAS, IIS, Container platform on Cloud (AWS EKS) middleware technologies. As a lead, need to support production environment by pro-actively monitoring and quickly responding to middleware incidents for one or more technologies within the technical area of expertise. Frequently collaborate with vendor/contractor partners to develop and implement detailed design, configuration and engineering strategies/solutions to resolve issues/incidents while remaining focused on security, up-time and performance. Provide troubleshooting and resolution to routine/semi-complex problems.

Support Shifts: Shift will be rotational out of the following two ( 8 AM IST to 4:30 PM IST, 2 PM IST to 1030 PM IST). It will be a support role with demands to accomplish automation needs of the project.
