Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Bangalore is seeking a Principal/Lead Data Architect (AWS Focus) to design and lead scalable data platforms. You will architect end-to-end data architectures using Databricks Lakehouse and Snowflake, build streaming ETL/ELT pipelines, and deploy enterprise-scale cloud data solutions within the AWS ecosystem.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end, scalable, secure, and highly available data architectures using Databricks and Snowflake.
• Architect, optimize, and deploy batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build enterprise-scale cloud data platforms within the AWS ecosystem.
• Develop robust data ingestion frameworks using Databricks APIs, REST, and GraphQL APIs.
• Design real-time streaming solutions using Kafka, Flink, or AWS Kinesis.
• Implement modern and traditional data warehouse models (Kimball, Inmon, Star/Snowflake schemas).
• Provide technical leadership, governance, and mentor engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Data Science and AI teams to support LLMs, ML pipelines, and advanced analytics.

Required Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Expertise in distributed data pipelines using Python, Scala, and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Experience with real-time streaming technologies:
