TE Connectivity seeks a Lead AI Program & Portfolio Manager to drive the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives across the business unit. You will bridge business stakeholders, technology teams and leadership to identify opportunities, manage AI project portfolios and ensure delivery of AI-driven solutions with measurable value.

Job Overview

The Lead AI Program & Portfolio Manager is responsible for driving the end-to-end lifecycle of Artificial Intelligence initiatives across the business unit. This role serves as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, data experts, and leadership by identifying business challenges, evaluating AI opportunities, managing project portfolios, and ensuring successful delivery of AI-driven solutions that create measurable business value.

The position requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, business consulting, program governance, and AI transformation capabilities to scale innovation and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.

Roles & Responsibility

AI Strategy & Opportunity Assessment

• Identify, assess, and prioritize AI/ML and Generative AI use cases aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational challenges and translate them into AI opportunities.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and value realization studies for AI initiatives.
• Develop AI roadmaps and strategic recommendations for leadership teams.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Business Consulting & Problem Definition

• Engage with business units to understand processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead business discovery workshops and solution design discussions.
• Define AI use cases, business requirements, success criteria, and expected outcomes.
• Build business cases, ROI analysis, and value realization frameworks.

Portfolio & Program Management

• Manage a portfolio of AI initiatives across multiple functions and business units.
• Establish project prioritization frameworks and governance processes.
• Monitor project health, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation.
• Drive portfolio reviews and executive reporting.
• Ensure alignment of AI investments with strategic business priorities.

Project Delivery Management

• Lead end-to-end AI project execution from ideation through deployment and adoption.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Manage project plans, milestones, deliverables, and project governance.
• Track benefits realization and project outcomes against defined KPIs.

Stakeholder Management & Executive Communication

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders and key stakeholders.
• Translate technical AI concepts into business-friendly language.
• Prepare executive presentations, status reports, steering committee updates, and leadership communications.
• Facilitate decision-making and alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Drive adoption and change management activities for AI solutions.

Innovation & Transformation Leadership

• Promote AI-driven culture and innovation across the organization.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency.
• Lead proof-of-concepts, pilots, and scaling initiatives.
• Support enterprise-wide AI transformation programs and capability-building efforts.
