Job summary

Workday in Mumbai is seeking a hardworking, innovative HCM Functional Consultant to join our team. You will ensure successful implementation of the Workday HCM solution with customers through product and implementation expertise.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience implementing or supporting HCM systems, requirements gathering, configuration, data conversion and testing. Be ready to be challenged and have fun!

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of functional experience in HCM or related modules.
• Experience as Solution Architect in end-to-end implementations.
• Consulting experience in ERP apps (Workday, SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
• At least 4 full-cycle client implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful Workday HCM implementations with customers.
• Capture requirements, configure, validate data conversions, and test Workday solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
• Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants.

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative HCM Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday HCM solution with customers through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate for this position should have extensive experience implementing or supporting HCM systems, requirements capturing, configuration, data conversion and testing. You should be detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive, results oriented and able to successfully partner with customers and your project team. Be ready to be challenged and have fun!

About You

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of functional experience in any of HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Performance Management, Time & Absence software solutions or systems
• Should have worked as Solution Architect in an end-to-end implementation.
• Previous consulting experience preferred either as an internal consultant or with a consulting / software organization in another ERP application (e.g. Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software, ADP, Ceridian or similar application).
• Should have experience in at-least 4 full cycle client implementations
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and supporting HCM solutions

• Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
• Experience deploying multiple projects simultaneously a plus

• Ability to work across different SKU's simultaneously
• Work with the customer to help convert legacy data into Workday.
• Assist the Integration Consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions.
• Creation and execution of lifecycle test scenarios for all testing cycles in scope through partnership with the Test Lead
• Ensure optimal test coverage and test execution, enabling a smooth and timely transition to production.
• Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants.
• Help deliver successful project outcomes and lasting customer relationships.
