State Street's TradeNeXus division is seeking a Senior Developer to design and enhance the FX settlement, confirmation, and clearing software that powers electronic trading workflows.

You will collaborate with product management, QA and other engineers, applying modern web technologies (React, Node.js, REST APIs) to deliver robust, user-friendly features for asset managers and counterparties.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer science or related degree.
12+ years of experience as a software engineer.
4+ years Experience with web development technologies (JavaScript) and JavaScript UI frameworks (ReactJS). Strong skills in Typescript, JSX, Sass/SCSS, Styled-components.
4+ years of experience building REST APIs using NodeJS/Java stack.
Practical knowledge of web tooling such as webpack, storybook, NPM, babel, gulp and yar.
Strong familiarity with modern web development tools and patterns e.g. Redux, React Hooks, NodeJS.
Keen eye for visual web design and passion for using modern techniques to create visually rich and interactive experience.
Passionate about building excellent software with customer focus and empathy.
Team player with a thirst to learn, sense of urgency, and ownership and thrive in fast‑paced environment.

TradeNeXus (also known as GTSS and FX Connect Trade Services) is an award-winning post-trade solution developed primarily for asset managers and their counterparties that provides technology and workflows to support electronic matching, confirmation, and SWIFT messaging for foreign exchange (FX) and money‑market transactions.
