Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to join ACM within its Patient Monitoring and Respiratory Interventions teams. You will design, develop and maintain mobile apps for iOS and Android using native (Swift/Obj-C, Kotlin/Java) and cross‑platform (Flutter, React Native) technologies.

You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality products, write clean code, and ensure application security and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience developing and deploying mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in native languages: Swift/Obj-C and Kotlin/Java.
• Experience with at least one cross‑platform framework (Flutter, React Native).
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, RESTful APIs.

We are seeking a talented and motivatedMobile App Developerto the team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You should be comfortable working with both native (Swift, Kotlin/Java) and cross-platform (Flutter, React Native, or similar) technologies to deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Work with both native (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java) and cross-platform (Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, etc.) frameworks.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality products.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance.
• Ensure the security, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience developing and deploying mobile applications on both iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in native development languages: Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android.
• Experience with at least one cross-platform mobile framework (Flutter, React Native, etc.).
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with app store submission processes for both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for mobile apps.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• knowledge in FDA and ISO design control requirements is a plus.
