Responsibilities

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic Principal Engineer to join the UK GCC CIVIL Team

The Civil team in Bengaluru will work alongside our UK discipline.

We are looking for rounded individuals responsible for planning and managing the delivery of projects, including the adequacy of design, compliance with standards and legislation, resource time, cost, and quality.

Qualifications

• 11 years of professional experience in Pavement design and Pavement evaluation techniques
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Pavement design using AASHTO/DMRB methods
• Ability to design and lead Raod Pavement design projects
• Working knowledge of Heavy duty pavements (Port and Airfield)
• Working knowledge of concrete pavement and flexible pavement design
• Knowledge of UK/International pavement engineering demonstrated by the experience of
• pavement design and investigation.
• Experience of pavement investigation projects for maintenance design and failure investigation
• Knowledge of materials behavior underlying standard specifications.
• Knowledge of roads operation, maintenance and renewal practices.
• Ability to understand the scope and limits of responsibility between various engineering
• disciplines and project support groups.
• Experienced in Leading teams and People management
• Excellent Communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Chartered member or close to achieve the Chartership Status with the UK Engineering Council through a recognized professional institution (ICE or CIHT)
