Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a senior backend engineer to lead architecture and guide platform-level API design for the OneAPI backend. The role requires hands-on mastery of Java and Spring Boot, cloud-native architectures, and Kubernetes, with a track record of steering teams toward quality results.

The ideal candidate will mentor engineers, promote CI/CD and DevOps culture, and collaborate with stakeholders to shape the platform roadmap, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance software

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with Java & Spring Boot.
• Experience building platform-level APIs and distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong Kubernetes experience for container orchestration.
• DevOps mindset: CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, automation.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI.
• Experience leading small, versatile teams and collaborating across disciplines.
• Experience working in a team responsible for product quality.

Responsibilities
