Job summary

Nagarro is seeking a Senior Solution/Technical Architect with 11+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE experience to design and lead scalable enterprise applications. You will guide architecture using microservices, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and AWS, while aligning with API gateways and RESTful services across the stack.

The role requires deep expertise in databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB), Agile Scrum, and DevOps with Maven/Jenkins/GitHub.

Qualifications

• Total experience: 11+ years.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate (ORM) and enterprise app development.
• Deep expertise in Microservices Architecture (MSA), Spring Boot, and Kubernetes deployment.
• Hands-on coding in Java with architecture background.
• Experience with API Gateways and RESTful services.
• Grew knowledge of AWS Cloud and cloud-native development.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL DBs (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Strong Agile Scrum experience; DevOps tools: Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams using UML.
• Strong non-functional requirements focus: HA, security, performance, scalability, reliability.
• Minimum 5–6 years as hands-on Solution/Technical Architect.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Lead technical architecture, solution design, and implementation for large-scale projects.
• Develop and deploy containerized apps with Kubernetes and AWS cloud services.
• Design secure and scalable REST APIs and integrate via API Gateways.
• Mentor developers, enforce coding standards, and drive code reviews.
• Create architecture artifacts (solution/logical/technology/deployment diagrams) with UML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release planning.
• Ensure performance, security, and high availability by addressing NFRs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience: 11+ years.

• Ability to design Contextual, Logical, Solution, Technology, and preferably Deployment Architectures.
• Strong understanding of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including High Availability, Security, Performance, Scalability, and Reliability.
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience as a hands-on Solution/Technical Architect in development projects (not presales).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Lead technical architecture, solution design, and implementation for large-scale development projects.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes and cloud services on AWS.
• Design secure and scalable REST APIs and integrate them through API Gateway solutions.
• Guide development teams on coding standards, architecture best practices, code reviews, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Create architecture artifacts including solution, logical, technology, and deployment diagrams using UML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure software delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, support release planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and high availability by addressing non-functional requirements.
• Mentor developers, provide technical leadership, and foster a collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
