Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor for the team.
• Provide specialized input to studies and designs in area of expertise.
• Develop study and design procedures for high quality, cost-effective work.
• Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develop construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates.
• Apply expertise across the PS&E package steps.
• Perform quality control reviews of designs and drawings.
• Prepare technical specification sections.
• Contribute to engineering budget and scheduling.

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 12+ Years of Experiencewith bridge and related structural design schemes.
• Should have Midas knowledge and ME experience
• Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects.Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.Accountability for assigned work.Accuracy & precision of work.
