Qualifications

• Minimum 8.5+ years experience in an analog/MS design or CAD engineering role.
• Experience with analog simulation tools and design environments.
• Knowledge of programming in a scripting language such as Cadence Skill or Python.
• Knowledge of PDKs and interaction with the simulation environment.
• Knowledge of digital and mixed signal simulation and verification tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Cadence Skill, shell, Tcl, Perl, Python).
• Familiarity with Linux OS.

Responsibilities

• Design verification tools and environments for analog IC design.
• Simulation flows including layout extraction.
• Debugging and problem-solving in distributed computing environments.
• Collaborate on regression management, debugging, and tool-chain maintenance.
• Leverage distributed/remote computing environments for scalable runs (LSF, RTDa).

Position is for Client of Connectpro

Minimum 8.5+ years experience in an analog/MS design or CAD engineering role

Experience with EDA tools for analog IC design and simulation is required

• Design verification tools such as Virtuoso ADE, Solido SDE or other design environments
• Analog simulation tools such as spectre, hspice, and fast-spice simulators and their applications
• Virtuoso layout and post layout extraction simulation flows

Knowledge of PDK’s and their interaction with the simulation environment.

Knowledge of digital and mixed signal simulation and verification tools and techniques is required

• regression management tools and flows
• debug tools and flows

Knowledge of programming in a scripting language (e.g. Cadence Skill, shell, Tcl, Perl, python) is required.

Experience with digital implementation flow would be an asset.

Experience with distributed and remote computing environments and their maintenance would be an asset (LSF, RTDA. Sungrid)

Must be familiar with linux OS

Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills are required

Ability and willingness to learn new skills and self-starter who can produce in a remote managed setting
