Job summary

Oracle’s DBaaS platform team in the cloud is seeking engineers to develop scalable and secure cloud services for Exadata, ExaCC, VM/Bare Metal and Autonomous databases. You will work across Oracle's cloud ecosystem and learn internal database technologies while collaborating with global teams.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, REST APIs, microservices and Oracle Database, along with familiarity with web services and cloud platforms (OCI/AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Experience with algorithms, design patterns and data structures.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Proficiency with Java, J2EE, REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Oracle Database and web services.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (OCI/AWS/Azure/GCP) and Agile methodologies.

Working for DBaaS platform team will provide dual opportunity to work on cloud technology as well as understand the internals of different flavours of oracle database. • Deliver high-quality, well-tested code that integrates well with other sub-systems.

• Collaborate with many partners such as Development leads, Product Management, Operations, Release Management to make, adopt and communicate technical decisions and shape the development and delivery of software.

• Well versed with Algorithms, Design Pattern , Data structure, Distributed Systems
• Hands on experience working with Java, J2EE, Rest API, microservices, Oracle Database
• Familiarity/Exposure to Web architecture, Web Services
• Would be great if they have Cloud experience (OCI/AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology
• Ability to work well with local & global teams
