Job summary

Fractal Analytics Ltd. is seeking an NLP Lead Data Scientist in Bengaluru to build solutions that analyze and transform natural language data into useful outcomes, leveraging NLP techniques and advanced modeling to drive client success.

You will design, train, and deploy NLP models, work across generative AI and LLMs, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align roadmaps and integrate solutions into core systems.

Qualifications

• 16‑20 years of experience in deep learning frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying ML/NLP solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with NLP tools such as Gensim, spaCy, Stanford NLP, and HuggingFace.
• Excellent project/program management skills and experience managing multiple work streams and projects simultaneously.
• Business acumen to manage revenues profitably and meet financial goals consistently.
• Ability to quantify business value for clients and create win‑win commercial propositions.
• Outstanding skills in statistical analysis, machine learning methods, text representation techniques, language models, and consulting experience in FS and banking domains.
• Good communication and client‑handling skills.

• Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, from design and testing to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to align messaging, contribute to roadmaps, and integrate software into different repositories for core system compatibility.
• Possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Primary Skills

• Natural Language Processing: use case classification, topic modeling, Q&A and chatbots, search, Document AI, summarization, and content generation.
• Computer Vision and Audio: image classification, object detection, segmentation, image generation, audio, and video analysis.
• Generative AI: LLMs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, prompt engineering, LLM fine‑tuning, RLHF, and GPU utilization.
• Cloud: Azure, AWS, and GCP; cloud certification preferred.
• Application Development: Python, Docker, FastAPI/Django/Flask, and Git.
• Domain: Consulting experience with FS and banking for at least 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience automating data within Tableau, Qlik, ggplot, or Shiny to tell a story through interactive visualizations.
• Client relationship management: building deep client relationships and acting as a thought partner.
• Sales support and account growth: focusing on opportunities to grow clients alongside senior engagement managers.
• Firm building: contributing to firm growth by conducting training sessions.
• Coaching and grooming: coaching and grooming the team on analytics techniques, problem‑solving, project management, and client relationship management.

Education

B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech. in Computer Science or related technical degree, or equivalent.
