Job summary

Movate, Bengaluru-based, seeks a data engineering expert to design scalable Lakehouse architectures and implement end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT. You will optimize SQL performance, manage governance, lineage, and security, and integrate ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and MDG. Strong cloud data platform experience is essential.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust data models, governance policies, and deployment automation via GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Must be expert in Databricks, PySpark, SparkSQL, and Delta Lake.
Strong SQL and performance optimization skills.
Experience designing and implementing scalable Lakehouse architectures.
Development of ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT.
Integration experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, MDG and other ERP systems is a strong plus.
Experience with Unity Catalog, data governance, lineage, and security concepts is a plus.
Data modelling and architecture expertise.
GitHub, CI/CD, and deployment automation experience.
