Job summary

Crown House Technologies is seeking a Principal MEP Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning across all MEP systems on a large Data Centre project. You will own the strategy, delivery, and coordinate commissioning teams and contractors to ensure a fully operational building.

You will develop the Commissioning Execution Plan, manage all stages of testing and handover, and ensure compliance with BSRIA, CIBSE, CSA, IET and Building Regulations while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing commissioning on complex MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of design principles and commissioning codes.
• CSA Grade 6 or CM2 accreditation (or equivalent).
• Excellent leadership, communication and planning skills.
• Ability to produce detailed commissioning strategies and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Commissioning Execution Plan with strategy and resources.
• Manage all commissioning stages: static completion, pre-functional, functional, integrated testing, building performance testing.
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing and site-based commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with BSRIA, CIBSE, CSA, IET codes and Building Regulations.
• Drive programme progress and advise on delays.
• Manage documentation and final Commissioning Report.
• Ensure safe commissioning practices and health and safety standards.
• Plan and deliver Employer training and post-PC monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Commissioning Execution Plan, including strategy, methodology, and fully resourced programme.
• Manage all commissioning stages, including:
  • Static Completion
  • Pre-functional Testing
  • Functional Testing
  • Integrated System Testing
  • Building Performance Testing
• Oversee and verify Factory Acceptance Testing and site-based commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with BSRIA, CIBSE, CSA, IET codes of practice, Building Regulations, and BREEAM requirements.
• Drive the commissioning programme, monitor progress, and advise on potential delays.
• Manage documentation, reporting, and production of the final Commissioning Report.
• Ensure safe commissioning practices and adherence to all health and safety standards.
• Plan and deliver Employer training, seasonal commissioning, and post-PC monitoring.

What are we looking for?
