Job summary

NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to lead enterprise cloud initiatives across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. The role centers on designing, implementing and optimizing public and private cloud environments with a strong emphasis on automation, reliability and security.

You will work with solutions architects, manage cloud environments in line with security guidelines, automate provisioning and operations, and mentor teams through modern cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and 5+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience with public and private cloud technologies and migrating services to cloud.
• Experience with virtual/cloud infrastructure and automation/orchestration tools (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).

Job Profile Summary The Principal Cloud Engineer willbe responsible for delivering enterprise-level IT support with afocus on technical set-up, support and maintenance of public andprivate cloud-based IT services for the NTT Ltd organization. Coreresponsibilities for this role include leveraging engineering toolsand processes for effective provisioning, installation, configuration,operation, maintenance and support of NTT Ltd cloudinfrastructure. The successful Engineer will possess very strongtroubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently toresearch and resolve issues.

Job Description

• Engineering, automating, and orchestrating systemprovisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud toolsand technologies
• Designing and building technical solutions in thecloud environment
• Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications
• Understanding the needs for new initiatives tobuild scalable, distributed and high-performance computing cloud-based platform solutions on Azure, AWS, and Google or othercloud platforms
• Collaborating with solutions architects
• Managingcloud environments in accordance with NTT Ltd securityguidelines
• Deploying and debugging Cloud initiatives as needed inaccordance with best practices throughout the developmentlifecycle
• Performing system administration tasks includingconfiguration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and supportwhile innovating to automate as much as possible
• Installingconfiguring, maintaining, and supporting applications and serversin public cloud environments
• Performing operating system andsoftware application installation, patching, and upgrades
• Educatingteams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives,providing associated training as required
• Troubleshooting andresolving issues reported by monitoring systems and submittedthrough the ticketing system of fully documented issues, actionstaken, and steps for resolution
• Performing other tasks as defined,planned, and approved by leadership

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computerscience or equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in theenterprise infrastructure support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public and private Cloudtechnologies
• Experience in migrating in-house services to a public publiccloud provider
• Experience with virtual/cloudinfrastructure
• Experience with software engineering, scripting,automation and orchestration tools (PowerShell, Ansible, GitHub,Terraform)
• Experience provisioning, configuring and maintainingcloud computing services such as Azure
• Experience supportingMicrosoft technology, including, but not limited to: Windows Serverand Client OS, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, SQL, IIS,DNS, and DHCPOperational understanding of IP-based computernetworking within LAN and WAN environments includingimplementations in a public cloud environment
