You will define roadmaps, govern architecture, and partner with CTO and product teams to translate business goals into scalable, secure solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP, microservices, and data platforms. This role demands leadership, strong communication, and mentoring of architects.

Responsabilidades

• Own and define enterprise-wide architecture, technology strategy, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
• Architect scalable, secure, high-performance Java platforms using Spring Boot, microservices, APIs.
• Lead legacy modernization and cloud transformation, migrating to cloud-native architectures.
• Provide architecture governance through reviews, standards, and design reviews.
• Drive adoption of AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, CI/CD, and event-driven patterns.
• Define architecture for high-volume, mission-critical applications with focus on scalability and availability.
• Partner with CTO and product/engineering leaders to translate business objectives into tech strategy.
• Mentor Architects and senior engineers with technical direction.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and establish architecture principles and reusable frameworks.
• Support complex engagements, solutioning, pre-sales, estimations, and strategic customer discussions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise/Principal Architect with 18+ years of expertise in Java and enterprise application architecture. The role will provide strategic technical leadership, define enterprise architecture standards, and drive large-scale modernization and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and define enterprise-wide architecture, technology strategy, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps for large-scale Java platforms.
• Architect highly scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Lead legacy modernization and cloud transformation initiatives, including migration from monolithic to cloud-native architectures.
• Provide architecture governance through HLD/LLD reviews, architecture assessments, technology standards, and design reviews.
• Drive adoption of AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, CI/CD, event-driven architecture, and observability.
• Define architecture for high-volume, mission-critical enterprise applications with focus on scalability, availability, performance, security, and resilience.
• Partner with CTO/technology leadership, product teams, business stakeholders, and engineering leaders to translate business objectives into technology strategy.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to Architects, Principal Engineers, and senior engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and establish architecture principles, standards, reusable frameworks, and engineering best practices.
• Support complex technical engagements, solutioning, pre-sales, estimations, and strategic customer discussions when required.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 20+ years of overall software engineering and architecture experience.
• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, REST APIs.
• Deep knowledge of Distributed Systems, Domain-Driven Design, Design Patterns, API Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and System Design.
• Strong experience with Kafka/message streaming, API Gateway, caching, asynchronous processing, and integration architecture.
• Extensive experience in AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and observability.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar.
• Strong understanding of application security, OAuth2/OIDC, IAM, encryption, resiliency, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Strong architecture governance and technology strategy experience.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive architecture decisions across multiple teams.
• Excellent understanding of enterprise integration, scalability, performance engineering, and modernization patterns.
• Strong mentoring and technical leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with TOGAF / Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
• Exposure to GenAI/AI-enabled applications and modern application platforms.
• Experience in large-scale global enterprise transformation programs.
• Architecture certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP or relevant technology domains.
