Job summary

Aurexion, Inc. in India is building a next-gen AI-native multilingual, omnichannel platform for emerging markets and seeks a hands-on AI/ML & Data Engineering Lead to own agent assist components such as Whisper/STT, LangChain-based summarization, and scalable data pipelines.

You will guide model fine-tuning, real-time analytics, and inference pipelines, collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver AI-powered features in a fast-paced startup setting with strong ownership.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years in AI/ML/Data Engineering with LLM exposure.
• Hands-on with Whisper, LangChain, HuggingFace or similar frameworks.
• Strong Python (FastAPI preferred), SQL/PostgreSQL, REST API skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• NLP, STT, TTS, summarization, and emotion tagging expertise.
• Startup environment with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead LLM-based features: summarization, sentiment detection, auto-disposition, escalation tagging.
• Fine-tune/evaluate Whisper, GPT, HuggingFace, Rasa for multilingual support.
• Build/deploy LangChain pipelines for prompt engineering, QA tagging, and agent assist.
• Prototype emotion recognition and real-time assist capabilities.
• Develop inference pipelines using FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Integrate AI modules into core product features (Dialer, CRM Sync, IVR).
• Architect scalable data pipelines with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka.
• Ensure secure, GDPR-ready data storage/retrieval/access control.

Job description

We are building the next-gen AI-native, multilingual, omnichannel communication platform for emerging markets. We are looking for a hands-on AI/ML & Data Engineering Lead who will own and deliver critical components of our agent assist stack, including Whisper/STT, LangChain-based summarization, emotion tagging, GPT integration, and scalable data pipelines. This is a foundational role blending applied machine learning, LLM integration, and modern data engineering to drive real-time decisioning and automation across the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of LLM-based features including summarization, sentiment detection, auto-disposition, and escalation tagging
• Fine-tune and evaluate models such as Whisper, GPT, HuggingFace, and Rasa for multilingual (Indian language) support
• Build and deploy LangChain pipelines for prompt engineering, QA tagging, and agent assist
• Prototype emotion recognition, contextual agent replies, and real-time assist capabilities
• Build and maintain inference pipelines using FastAPI, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Integrate AI modules into core product features including Dialer, CRM Sync, and IVR
• Optimize model latency and deployment strategies for high-concurrency environments
• Architect scalable data pipelines using PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows for real-time analytics, dashboards, and feedback loops
• Maintain secure, compliant data storage, retrieval, and access control pipelines (DPDP & GDPR-ready)
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and UX teams to deliver AI-powered features
• Guide junior ML and Data Engineers while defining coding and data standards
• Contribute to AI strategy, model governance, and data infrastructure roadmap

Requirements:

• 10-12 years of total professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AI/ML/Data Engineering with exposure to LLMs and production-grade pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Whisper, LangChain, HuggingFace, or similar AI frameworks
• Strong Python (FastAPI preferred), SQL/PostgreSQL, and REST API development skills
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes/K3s, Redis, and Kafka/RabbitMQ
• Strong understanding of NLP, STT, TTS, summarization, and emotion tagging
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with an ownership mindset

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with multilingual AI models (Hindi, Tamil, Bengali)
• Exposure to Rasa, Coqui TTS, or OpenWA integrations
• Previous experience in SaaS, Contact Center, Dialer, or CRM platforms
• Familiarity with speech emotion recognition or agent coaching models
• Shape the AI-native dialer experience for agents across India and overseas
• Build a multilingual, affordable, fast-deploy SaaS platform for emerging markets
