We are seeking an experienced and passionate Montessori Primary Lead Guide to lead our Children’s House classroom. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Montessori method for ages 3-6 and be skilled at creating a joyful, engaging learning environment where children develop independence, concentration, and a love of learning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a complete Montessori Primary environment with all five curriculum areas
• Present individual and small-group lessons across practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, and cultural subjects
• Observe children carefully and maintain detailed records of their progress and development
• Guide children toward independence, self-discipline, and respect for others
• Create a peaceful, orderly classroom atmosphere conducive to concentration and discovery
• Build strong relationships with families and communicate regularly about children’s growth
• Mentor assistant guides and collaborate with the teaching team
• Participate in school events, parent conferences, and professional development

Required Qualifications

• AMI or AMS Montessori Primary (3-6) certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Primary Lead Guide
• Thorough knowledge of Montessori materials and curriculum for ages 3-6
• Strong classroom management and observation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
