Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver Hindi lessons as per the prescribed school curriculum.
  • Teach Hindi grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, and literature.
  • Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Use activity-based and experiential teaching methodologies.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and classroom activities.
  • Conduct storytelling, poetry, recitation, role-play, and other Hindi language activities.
  • Assess students through classwork, assignments, tests, projects, and periodic assessments.
  • Monitor individual student progress and maintain academic records.
  • Identify students who need additional support and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Encourage students to participate in Hindi-related competitions and activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress.
  • Participate in PTMs, school events, assemblies, celebrations, and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators for academic planning.
  • Maintain student portfolios and other required documentation.
  • Follow school policies, child-safety guidelines, and academic procedures.
  • Participate in teacher training and professional development programs.
Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Hindi or a relevant discipline.
  • B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
Experience
  • 25 years of relevant experience as a Hindi Teacher at the Primary School level.
  • Experience in CBSE/ICSE or reputed school environments will be preferred.
  • Candidates with strong classroom management and communication skills will be preferred.
