Position Overview

Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is seeking an experienced Pricing and Proposals Specialist based in India to support global clinical trial sponsors. The role operates on European working hours and involves delivering precise pricing strategies and high‑quality proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Primary functions include:

• Work with Project Management and Sales teams on change‑in‑scope requests and generate price estimates for simple to complex client projects.
• Develop Change Order documents and proposals, collaborating with other departments and using Clario and client templates.
• Deliver high‑quality documents within required timelines.
• Update internal systems with accurate budget and project information and maintain document storage in line with departmental guidelines.

Additional responsibilities:

• Coordinate with team members to review fee schedules for large/complex trials and determine pricing strategies with Sales, Finance, Product, and Science teams.
• Mentor and train junior colleagues, ensuring quality and providing guidance.
• Contribute to process and template improvements, including Change Order and RFP templates.
• Participate in interdepartmental initiatives, such as training related to the Change Order and RFP process.
• Read, analyze, and collaborate on client RFPs and protocols; generate ball‑parks, budgets, and proposals.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in life sciences (clinical research, pharma, or related fields).
• Demonstrated experience developing pricing estimates and change‑order proposals.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology and practices preferred.
• Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is a plus.
• Strong ability to work independently and in a team; adept at adjusting to changing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
