Job summary

Pratiroop Mudran in Pune is seeking a Prepress Executive to prepare artwork files for printing and ensure they meet production requirements. You will handle color separation, trapping, imposition, and KLD development for mono cartons while coordinating with clients for approvals and packaging development.

The role requires proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator, with extensive experience in prepress, packaging processes, and artwork feasibility.

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in prepress, printing, or packaging.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator is essential.
• Sound knowledge of mono carton manufacturing and packaging processes.
• Experience in artwork preparation, colour separation, and KLD development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare artwork files for printing and ensure they are print-ready as per production requirements.
• Handle colour separation, trapping, imposition, and prepress file preparation.
• Prepare accurate key line drawings (KLD) of mono cartons as per customer specifications.
• Coordinate with clients for artwork corrections, approvals, and packaging development.
• Receive artwork in CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator, make necessary modifications, and share PDF proofs with clients for approval.
• Assist clients in developing new mono carton packaging designs and ensure artwork feasibility.
• Coordinate with production, printing, and punching departments to ensure error-free job execution.
• Verify dimensions, folding, cutting, creasing, and other technical specifications before final approval.
