Job summary

Utthunga is seeking an Installation & PowerShell Scripting Engineer to install, configure, and maintain software solutions while developing PowerShell scripts to automate deployments, system administration, and routine tasks.

The role requires 8 to 12 years of experience and involves troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with development teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with software deployment processes and Active Directory/Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools; knowledge of CI/CD concepts is a plus.
• Exposure to Intune, SCCM, or endpoint management tools; basic SQL and cloud knowledge (Azure/AWS).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; Microsoft or PowerShell certifications preferred.

Experience : 8 to 12 years

• Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and Windows systems.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system administration.
• Troubleshoot installation, configuration, and deployment issues.
• Perform system validation, testing, and documentation.
• Provide remote and onsite technical support as required.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve technical issues.

Mandatory Skills

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting. Experience with Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of software deployment and installation processes. Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows Server, and basic networking. Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is an advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Experience with automation tools and CI/CD concepts. Exposure to Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or endpoint management tools. Basic knowledge of SQL and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). Relevant Microsoft or PowerShell certifications are preferred.
