Job summary

Tarento is seeking a Power Platform Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions on Microsoft Power Platform for diverse clients. You will lead requirements gathering, architecture design, and integration work with Dynamics 365, Azure, and data sources, while mentoring developers and ensuring best practices.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and relevant Microsoft certifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.
• Experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Developer is preferred.
• Exposure in model-driven apps on Dynamics 365.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer Associate are desirable.
• Nice to have Copilot/Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and architecture of Power Platform solutions including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Gather requirements from clients and translate into technical specifications.
• Develop, customize, and integrate Power Platform components with other systems via connectors and APIs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
• Ensure best practices, governance, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Support presales by helping mine opportunities in accounts.

As a Power Platform Solution Architect

You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions on Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate. You will be responsible for creating scalable and effective solutions that meet the business needs of our clients. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design end-to-end solutions, and ensure that all aspects of the implementation are aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and other components of Microsoft Power Platform. Develop comprehensive solution architectures that address complex business requirements. Should have exposure in model driven apps on Dynamics365.
• Development: Independently develop robust and scalable Power Apps applications and Power Automate workflows. Implement custom components, integrations, and extensions as needed.
• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and functional specifications.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and team members. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in solution design and development.
• Integration: Design and implement integrations with other systems and data sources, utilizing connectors and APIs to enhance the functionality of Power Platform solutions.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Address and resolve technical issues related to Power Platform solutions. Provide support and maintenance to ensure continuous operation and performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solution designs, technical specifications, and user guides.
• Project Management: Oversee the development lifecycle of Power Platform projects, including planning, execution, and deployment. Work in alignment with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Power Platform and related technologies. Propose and implement improvements and new features to enhance solutions.
• Presales: Participate in Presales activities. Work on proposals and should be able to mine opportunities in accounts.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, including significant experience in Power Apps and Power Automate. Prior experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Developer is preferred. Should have exposure in model driven apps on Dynamics365.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in designing and developing Power Apps applications, Power Automate workflows, and integrations. Knowledge of custom connectors, APIs, and data integration.
• Architectural Skills: Strong understanding of solution architecture principles and best practices. Ability to design scalable and robust solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer Associate, or similar are highly desirable.
• Good to Have: Certification or relevant exposure in Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, with an understanding of Generative AI and its integration with Power Platform solutions.
• Tools & Technologies: Experience with additional tools and technologies such as Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 is a plus.
