Job summary

SPG Consulting in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Power BI Developer to design and optimize dashboards, models, and analytics. You will work with SQL, DAX, and Power Query to deliver scalable BI solutions and ensure data accuracy while using Git/GitHub Copilot for productive coding.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and application teams to translate requirements into robust BI products, following best practices for security and performance.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in SQL, data analysis, data modeling, and GitHub Copilot. The candidate will be responsible for developing interactive dashboards, optimizing SQL queries, building efficient data models, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.

Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, gateways, refresh schedules, and security.

Knowledge of Git/GitHub and source-control practices.

Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks.
