JSW GBS Limited in Navi Mumbai seeks an Asst. Manager - Power BI Developer to lead end-to-end finance analytics across ERP/SAP data pipelines, data modelling and visualization in Power BI.

You will own AP, AR and Treasury analytics, ensuring source-to-report integrity and actionable insights for senior stakeholders. The role demands 4-5 years of hands-on Power BI development, strong SQL, and experience with data governance and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 4-5 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• PL-300 or Microsoft Fabric certification is an advantage.
• Experience in end-to-end finance analytics across GBS processes including AP/AR/Treasury.

Purpose - Why does this role exist?

To independently lead finance data and analytics across GBS processes, from ERP/SAP data extraction through development of data pipelines and transformation layers from base/raw data to Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, visualization, deployment and support. The role will own AP, AR, Treasury and related GBS process data, ensuring source-to-report integrity while constructively challenging existing process logic, data transformations and analytics pipelines to improve automation, accuracy and business insights.

Critical Tasks - Mandatory Key Activities

• Own the complete ERP/SAP-to-Power BI lifecycle: extraction, loading, transformation, validation, modelling, visualization, deployment and support.
• Lead AP, AR, Treasury and related finance analytics independently, translating business requirements into KPIs and management insights.
• Clean, consolidate and reconcile data using Power Query/M and SQL; resolve duplicates, missing values, mapping issues and source-to-report breaks.
• Build efficient star-schema models and advanced DAX measures for aging, SLA, variance, trends, exceptions and productivity analysis.
• Manage Power BI Service, gateways, scheduled refresh, workspaces, permissions and Row-Level Security.
• Challenge process owners on data pipelines, business logic, controls, performance and automation opportunities.
• Maintain data lineage, KPI definitions, transformation logic, access controls and solution documentation.

Decision-Making Authority / Ownership Expected

• Own solution design, data validation, modelling, visualization and performance decisions within agreed timelines.
• Challenge incomplete requirements and expedite material data, access, security or source-system risks.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong Power BI Desktop and Service, DAX, Power Query/M, data modelling and dashboard UX skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT, ERP/SAP extraction, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, incremental loads and data lineage.
• Experience with gateways, refresh monitoring, workspaces, permissions and Row-Level Security.
• Understanding of AP, AR and Treasury data, including open items, aging, payment/collection status, bank positions and control exceptions.

Good to Have

• SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP experience; SharePoint/OneDrive, Microsoft Fabric, Azure or Databricks and Data Lake exposure.
• Finance analytics experience in AP, AR, R2R, Taxation or Treasury within a Shared Services/GBS environment.

Educational Background & Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 4-5 years of hands-on, end-to-end Power BI development experience.
• PL-300 or relevant Microsoft Fabric certification is an advantage.
