Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

What Youll Do:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BusinessObjects environments.
• Manage security, user access, data access, and BI environment configurations.
• Design, develop, test, and implement reports, scorecards, benchmarks, and executive dashboards.
• Develop and deploy visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
• Implement PowerShell/Python scripts for user onboarding, system health monitoring, and alerts.
• Perform dashboard performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Manage patches, change management, standards, best practices, metadata, cache/history, scheduling, and user administration.
• Manage and configure Power BI Gateways.
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues related to BI environments.
• Work with stakeholders and executive sponsors and communicate project status regularly.
• Support data integration from sources such as Snowflake and SQL Server into BI reporting environments.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of hands-on administration experience with Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BusinessObjects.
• Strong Power BI administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong SQL skills for debugging and resolving data issues.
• 1+ year of scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Bash.
• 2+ years of experience with ETL tools and SQL scripting.
• Experience managing and configuring BI Gateways.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, batch processing, and workflow scheduling.
• Experience with ad-hoc data analysis, solution design, reporting, and dashboard development.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
• Knowledge of RLS (Row-Level Security), shared vs. dedicated capacity, dashboard maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
