About the Role:

At Improzo, we are committed to transforming commercial operations for Life Sciences organizations through technology, data, and innovation. Our teams partner closely with global pharmaceutical clients to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-centric solutions.

We are now looking for a Power Apps, Power Automate & SharePoint Consultant to strengthen our digital solutions and operational automation capabilities. In this role, you will work directly with our clients and internal teams to design, develop, and deploy workflow automations, custom applications, and SharePoint-based solutions that streamline business processes.

You will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of operational efficiencies within pharma commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Requirement Gathering

• Partner with client business stakeholders (Commercial Ops, Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, Compliance, and IT teams) to understand workflows, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities into scalable Power Platform architectures.
• Conduct detailed workshops, interviews, and process assessments to identify requirements for apps, automations, and SharePoint solutions.
• Translate business needs into clear, structured technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution architectures.

Power Platform Development

• B Build enterprise-grade solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) and Power Automate, utilizing Power Fx for complex logic, and SharePoint Online.
• Implement modern automation features using AI Builder (form processing, object detection) and Copilot Studio to drive next-gen operational efficiency.
• Develop and integrate PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) controls and use JavaScript/TypeScript where out-of-box functionality is insufficient.
• Develop responsive, intuitive UI/UX layouts and reusable components.
• Create connectors, actions, and workflows integrated with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SQL, Excel Online, SharePoint Lists, and third-party APIs.
• Configure and manage approvals, notifications, role-based access, and automated business logic.

SharePoint Development & Administration

• Design and build SharePoint sites, document libraries, metadata structures, and permission models.
• Create custom lists, views, forms, automations, and integrations using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Develop custom web parts and extensions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, and TypeScript where out-of-the-box configuration falls short.
• Implement governance, version control, and access management frameworks.

Project Lifecycle Support

• Work closely with QA teams to validate features, conduct functional testing, and ensure solutions meet business acceptance criteria.
• Manage the full Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process using Solutions (Managed/Unmanaged) and Azure DevOps pipelines to ensure safe migration from Dev to Test to Prod.
• Support deployment, hypercare, and post-launch enhancements.
• Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for deployed workflows and applications.

Process Optimization & Best Practices

• Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, and modernize client processes through automation and digital enablement.
• Recommend best practices for Power Platform governance, security, and scalability.
• Stay current with Microsoft updates, new features, and emerging Power Platform capabilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online.
• Certifications in Power Platform (PL-200, PL-400) and Microsoft 365 including SharePoint highly desired.
• Strong experience creating Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, flows (cloud + desktop), and SharePoint integrations.
• Proficiency with data sources such as SharePoint Lists, Dataverse, SQL, Excel Online, Azure connectors, and APIs.
• Experience designing BRDs, FSDs, process flows, and user stories.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, etc.
• Exposure to Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical domain is a plus (not required).
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within cross‑functional teams.
