Job summary

Virtusa is seeking an experienced Staff Database Reliability Engineer (PostgreSQL & MySQL) to join our team in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, proficiency in query writing, procedures and functions, and strong performance tuning skills.

Knowledge of Informatica ETL and scripting in Python or Shell is a plus. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of critical data systems within a dynamic IT

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in advanced PostgreSQL.
• Expert in PostgreSQL DB.
• Expert in writing queries.
• Expert in writing procedures and functions.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and advanced PostgreSQL concepts.
• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica).
• Nice to have Python/Shell scripting knowledge.
