Responsibilities

• Gather intelligence on potential threats and coordinate with field teams to reduce risk.
• Counter espionage and prevent information leaks by managing intel flow.
• Build a Community Intelligence Network (Adani Mitra) with employees and local community to monitor suspicious activities.
• Maintain surveillance records and monitor movements to prevent subversive activities.
• Investigate crime scenes, preserve evidence, and support investigations.
• Liaise with local police for reporting crimes and FIRs.
• Oversee Security Operational Plan, budgeting, and AI-based security measures.

Purpose/Objective

• Head - Security ensures the security of people and assets by gathering intelligence, liaising with internal and civil authorities, and implementing security measures.


• Responsible for ensuring the security of the people and assets by gathering valuable intelligence inputs and liaising with various internal & civil authorities.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Intelligence Gathering and Risk Mitigation: Collect information on potential criminal activities and union movements, sharing insights with field and operations teams to reduce risks.


• Counter espionage efforts and prevent internal information leaks by managing the flow of intelligence to the appropriate parties.


• Community Intelligence Network: Develop a network of informants, known as Adani Mitra, among employees and the local community to monitor suspicious activities and gather intelligence on potential threats.


• Surveillance and Record Keeping: Maintain records of antisocial elements in the vicinity, monitoring their movements discreetly to prevent any subversive activities.


• Investigation and Property Protection: Investigate crime scenes, preserve evidence, study criminal methods, track suspects, and conduct interrogations to protect property and resolve cases.


• Law Enforcement Liaison: Collaborate with local police to assist business owners in reporting crimes and navigating the legal process for complaints and FIRs.


• Security Planning and Budgeting: Oversee the Security Operational Plan, manage annual budgeting, and implement innovative security measures, including Artificial Intelligence.


• Training and Development: Conduct intelligence and vigilance training for security personnel, encouraging the development of independent sources and a robust intelligence network.


• Government and Community Relations: Liaise with local police, villagers, panchayat members, and government bodies to exchange information and maintain community relations.


• Digital Mindset: Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.


• Team Development: Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.


• Key Stakeholders - Internal: Head of Security, Other department Leads, Legal team, Direct Reportees.
