Job summary

Kotak Mahindra Bank in Mumbai seeks a risk specialist to process, implement and develop risk strategies for the personal loan business, to build and maintain an effective risk management framework with identification, assessment, mitigation, tracking and reporting.

You will monitor portfolio delinquencies at micro level, evaluate scorecards and policies in line with regulatory guidelines, implement tech interventions like scorecards and digital journeys, and use analytics to track risk KPIs and

• The role requires to process, implement and develop risk strategies for personal loan business
• Operate and maintain an effective risk management system by creating a robust risk framework which includes risk identification, assessment, mitigation, tracking and reporting
• Management of portfolio risk to maintain the overall losses in the business
• Monitor portfolio delinquencies at micro level, identification of segments, locations, channels, profiles and proposing policies/ strategies to enable business and control risk
• Evaluate product/programs/policies in line with regulatory guidelines and build strong risk controls across all spectrums (Onboarding, Credit, Operations, Fraud, Reputation, etc.)
• Assessment of scorecards and formulation of policies/ strategies basis scorecard
• Implementation of technological interventions like scorecard, digital journey and automations
• Using analytics to track various risk KPIs against the defined risk appetites
• Recommend improvement to processes and policies to drive operational efficiencies
