Job summary

Zirlen Technologies, Inc is seeking a senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Chennai to design, develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. You will own the end-to-end coding lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of Oracle experience, strong PL/SQL hands-on skills, and a proven track record in end-to-end development and report tools like Oracle Reports or BI Publisher. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Oracle technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, exception handling).
• Proven experience in end-to-end software development/coding.
• Experience in report development (Oracle Reports / BI Publisher / similar tools).
• Strong understanding of database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and documentation guidelines
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
