Infosys is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Playwright based test scripts. You will build robust end-to-end, functional, regression, smoke, and integration suites and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to ensure product quality, while maintaining test documentation and metrics. Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience in API testing are required.

• Experience in designing and executing Playwright based automation testing.
• Hands-on with Playwright features like Auto-waits, Browser Contexts, and POM.

Roles Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Create robust end-to-end, functional, regression, smoke, and integration test suites.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and utilities.
• Execute cross-browser testing across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
• Implement API testing and validation as part of automation workflows.
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test execution results and investigate failures.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure product quality.
• Create and maintain test documentation, reports, and automation metrics.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect triage activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience in UI and Web Application Testing.
• Knowledge of Playwright features including Auto-waits, Browser Contexts, Network Interception, Parallel Execution, Page Object Model (POM).
• Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch.
• Understanding of REST API Testing.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and version control practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
