Kripya Engineering in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, seeks a QA Automation Engineer with 4-7 years of experience. The role centers on Playwright automation using JavaScript or TypeScript, and building robust test frameworks from scratch while integrating with CI pipelines (Jenkins).

The ideal candidate will have strong scripting skills (TS/JS), experience with Jira and a test management tool, and excellent communication to interact with clients and stakeholders.

Formación

• 4-7 years total experience (preferred)
• Hands-on Playwright automation with JavaScript or TypeScript
• TypeScript: 1+ year or JavaScript: 3+ years
• Manual testing: 1-2 years
• Jenkins: pipeline configuration and execution
• Designing and developing Playwright frameworks from scratch
• Experience with Jira and at least one test management tool
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Total Experience: 4-7 years (preferred)
• Playwright Automation: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Programming Skills (Mandatory):
  • TypeScript: Minimum 1 year of experience, or
  • JavaScript: Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Manual Testing: Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on testing experience.
• Jenkins: Understanding of pipeline configuration and execution.
• Test Automation Frameworks: Proven experience in designing and developing Playwright frameworks from scratch.
• Tools: Experience with Jira and at least one test management tool.
• Communication & Client Interaction: Strong stakeholder management, troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
