Job summary

Zoop in Bengaluru (onsite) is seeking a hands-on Platforms Lead to move infrastructure toward a mature platform model, owning architecture across cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, security, and FinOps. You will build reusable patterns and guardrails to accelerate product teams while controlling cost and risk.

You will lead the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), drive IaC with Terraform/Pulumi, strengthen CI/CD, and establish ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II controls, mentoring engineers

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years building and running production infrastructure.
• Experience scaling platforms in high-growth or regulated environments.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes and cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Proficient with IaC (Terraform/Pulumi) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Background in observability (Grafana/Prometheus) and security/compliance.

Responsibilities

The role exists to improve delivery speed without sacrificing security, reliability, or cost control as the business scales.You will own both architecture and implementation across cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, security, and FinOps. The goal is to create reusable platform patterns and guardrails that reduce friction for product engineering teams.This is a collaborative leadership role with real influence over how teams build, release, and operate software.
