Job summary

Kenvue Inc. is seeking a Platform Support Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and applications. You will implement scalable, secure solutions aligned with business goals, while mentoring teammates and staying current with cloud trends.

The role requires 6–8 years in cloud infrastructure support with strong Azure expertise, scripting, and DevOps practices. Hybrid Indian work location with night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 6–8 years of work experience with at least 5 years in Cloud Technology based Platform/Infrastructure support
• Readiness to work in shifts including night shifts
• Strong experience in infrastructure build and configuration on cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Exposure to networking patterns and performance strategies
• Proficiency in Azure technologies and services including Azure Virtual Networks, Load Balancer, SQL Database, Databricks, AKS and other components
• Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and Python, and programming for automating tasks
• Understanding of cloud architecture principles and DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in scalable, reliable, secure cloud solutions and disaster recovery planning

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Azure cloud-based solutions
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and applications using IaC to automate provisioning
• Maintain and monitor existing Azure infrastructure and workloads
• Create services as per Kenvue approved offerings
• Monitor Azure services performance and implement upgrades for security and performance
• Troubleshoot Azure environments and provide guidance on best practices
• Define and document deployment and maintenance best practices
• Provide guidance and mentorship on Azure technologies
• Stay updated with Azure developments and implement improvements
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans
• Assist in cost-management strategies for Azure usage
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into cloud solutions
• Maintain strong troubleshooting to transform business requirements into scalable solutions
• Champion DevOps, DataOps, and Agile practices to improve production workflows
• Stay current with cloud advancements to lead experimentation and coaching
• Mentor junior team members

What you will do

As the Professional, Operations and Support, you will be responsible for designing,deploying,andmanagingcloudinfrastructureandapplications,designing and the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Azure cloud-based solutions

• Design,deploy,andmanagecloudinfrastructureandapplications,utilizingInfrastructureasCode(IaC)toolstoautomateprovisioningandconfiguration.

• Maintain and monitor existing Azure infrastructure and workloads

• Creation of different services as per Kenvue approved services

• MonitortheperformanceofAzureservicesandapplications,implementingchangesandupgradesasnecessarytoensureoptimalperformanceandsecurity. Ensure the security, performance, reliability, and scalability of Azure applications and infrastructure

• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues. IdentifyandresolveissuesrelatedtoAzureenvironments,providing technicalsupportandguidancetoteammembersonAzuretechnologiesandbest practices.

• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance

• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to other members of the team on Azure technology and solutions

• Stay up to date with Microsoft Azure’s latest developments and trends to implement improvements as necessary

• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans

• Assist in the development of cost management strategies for Azure usage

• Interactwithstakeholderstounderstandtheirrequirementsandtranslatethemintoeffectivecloudsolutions.

• StronganalyticalskillstotroubleshootandmitigatecomplexAzure-relatedissues,transformingbusinessrequirementsintoscalablesolutions.

• Champion best practices in DevOps, DataOps, and Agile to enhance performance, consistency, and model production workflows.

• Stay current with Azure/cloud advancements to lead experimentation, coach teams, and enhance platform capabilities.

• Mentor and train colleagues junior team members

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.

• 6 – 8 years of work experience with at least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Technology based – Platform\\Infrastructure support professional

• Readiness to work in shifts (Night shifts included)

• Strong experience in Infrastructure build and configuration activities on Cloud Platforms , preferably Azure

• Good exposure to different networking patterns and performance strategies.

• ProficiencyinAzuretechnologiesandservices,includingAzureVirtualNetworks,AzureLoadBalancer,andAzureSQLDatabase, Azure Databricks, AKS and other Azure components

• StrongknowledgeofscriptinglanguagessuchasPowerShellandPython,aswellasprogramminglanguageslikeC#forautomatingtasksanddevelopingAzuresolutions.

• Understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices

• Experience in Infrastructure creation activities that meet the application requirements and adhere to scalability, reliability, and security standards

• Familiarity with version control systems like Bitbucket, Jenkins and DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines

• Good communication and Influencing skills

• Good knowledge of Agile principles and process.
