Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Platform Integration Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise integration platforms across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will focus on API integration, messaging, managed file transfer, CI/CD automation, platform administration, security, and production operations. Strong MuleSoft, OpenText MFT, IBM, SAP and cloud skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in enterprise integration, middleware, platform engineering or DevOps.
• Hands-on with MuleSoft, OpenText MFT, IBM ACE/MQ, and SAP integrations.
• Strong REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, messaging patterns.
• CI/CD design and support with Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Proficient in Linux, Python/Bash, and automation scripts.
• Security: TLS, mTLS, certificates, OAuth/OIDC, API security.
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Platform Integration Engineer to design, implement, integrate, and support enterprise integration platforms across cloud and on-premises environments. The role will focus on API integration, messaging, managed file transfer, CI/CD automation, platform administration, security, and production operations.

Required Technical Expertise: MuleSoft/Anypoint Platform, OpenText MFT/Trading Grid, IBM ACE, IBM MQ, Solace, IBM DataPower, SAP integration, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, SFTP/FTPS/AS2, PGP, TLS/mTLS, OAuth2/OIDC, certificates, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, Python/Bash, Linux, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

The engineer will be responsible for building reusable integration capabilities, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, integrating enterprise applications and middleware platforms, implementing security controls, monitoring platform health, troubleshooting production issues, and driving platform reliability and standardization.

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware, platform engineering, DevOps, or related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft / Anypoint Platform, OpenText MFT, IBM ACE, IBM MQ, Solace, IBM DataPower, and/or SAP integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, messaging, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with Git, Linux, Python/Bash scripting, and automation.
• Experience with SFTP, FTPS, AS2, PGP, TLS/SSL, mTLS, certificates, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, and API security.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and preferably Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Strong experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, security, and enterprise platform operations.
• Ability to work with application, infrastructure, security, DevOps, and architecture teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments is preferred.
