Job summary

Evolent Health International Private Limited is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and operate reproducible infrastructure and agentic AI solutions. You will implement design, security, and compliance in delivery while shaping API design and self-service platform features across TS/JS/React/C#/Python stacks.

You’ll own Git workflows end-to-end, design REST APIs, and assemble CI/CD pipelines as code, enabling transparent handoffs, reviews, and scalable platform operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provision and change infrastructure exclusively as code, so that every environment is reproducible, reviewable, and free of manual drift.
• Reverse engineer the applications and infrastructure you inherit: trace dependencies, integrations, and data flows end to end until you can explain how a system actually works.
• Design and build agentic AI solutions for platform, delivery, and operations work: identify the toil worth automating, then build, evaluate, and harden the agent that removes it.
• Build security and compliance into the delivery path: least-privilege access, secrets handling, policy-as-code guardrails, and audit evidence produced by design rather than assembled under deadline.
• Independently design, build, and ship platform features, self-service workflows, and APIs in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, C#, or Python, applying modularity, design patterns, and sound software design principles.
• Own your Git and GitHub workflow end to end—feature branches, meaningful commits, rebasing, and merge conflict resolution—and both author high-quality pull requests and review others' for correctness, readability, test coverage, and security.
• Design and document REST APIs, including contract and schema design, versioning, error semantics, and backward compatibility.
• Write unit and integration tests and build CI/CD pipelines as code (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), with automated build, test, static analysis, and dependency scanning.

Mandatory Requirements
