Datamatics Technologies seeks an experienced Platform Engineer to install, configure, and operationalize an on‑prem data platform across development, QA, and production environments. You will deploy MinIO and Apache Iceberg, optimize Starburst/Dremio, and manage Spark processing services in a highly secured enterprise setting.

Key responsibilities include integrating IAM/PAM with AD/LDAP, implementing SSO/RBAC, enabling Git-based DevOps, and ensuring monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support the installation, configuration, integration, and operationalization of an on-premises modern data platform. The role will focus on infrastructure setup, platform administration, security integration, environment management, and platform reliability across Development, QA, and Production environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience deploying enterprise data platforms in highly secured environments, with strong troubleshooting, operational support, and infrastructure management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer data platform components in an on-premises environment.
• Deploy and manage MinIO Object Storage and Apache Iceberg-based data lakehouse architecture.
• Install, configure, and optimize Starburst and/or Dremio platforms for data virtualization and querying.
• Deploy, administer, and support Apache Spark clusters and processing services.
• Install, configure, and manage Informatica components and ensure seamless integration with the platform ecosystem.
• Configure and maintain Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Integrate platform components with enterprise security services, including:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Active Directory / LDAP
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure platform stability, availability, and performance.
