Job summary

Planview is seeking a Managed Services Consultant II to join our Managed Services team, supporting Planview's SaaS portfolio and work management applications. You'll troubleshoot more complex client issues and act as a go-to resource on Planview's managed services offerings. Working Hours: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST).

Work Mode: Hybrid. The role requires 2+ years in managed services, SQL troubleshooting, and experience with Planview tools; Power BI reporting is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in managed services, technical support, or SaaS administration.
• Intermediate SQL skills and troubleshooting web/app issues (IIS).
• Familiarity with portfolio management concepts and Planview tools.
• Experience with reporting and dashboards, Power BI preferred.
• Strong communication, ability to work independently as SME.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; willingness to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support Planview SaaS apps: monitoring, delivery coordination, reporting.
• Provide functional and technical support for complex client issues.
• Develop and maintain client system documentation and procedures.
• Be a subject matter expert on Planview’s managed services.
• Collaborate on client training and Planview functionality walkthroughs.
• Attend client meetings to understand business needs and priorities.
• Contribute to service improvement plans for client accounts.
• Perform health checks and performance assessments of client environments.
• Manage user access, security roles, and portfolio governance.
• Build reporting and dashboards (Power BI) for portfolio health and risk.
• Maintain trusted client relationships through proactive communication.

The Opportunity

Planview is looking for a Managed Services Consultant II to join our Managed Services team, supporting customers running Planview's SaaS portfolio and work management applications. Building on foundational managed services experience, you'll troubleshoot more complex client issues, act as a go-to resource on Planview's managed services offerings, and start shaping service improvement initiatives and client training as you work with growing independence.

Working Hours: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST)

What You'll Do

• Support Planview SaaS applications: monitoring, delivery coordination, and reporting.
• Provide functional and technical support and troubleshooting for complex client issues and incidents, working trouble tickets, SQL jobs, and application-level diagnostics (including IIS).
• Develop and maintain documentation for client systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Planview’s managed services offerings and capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver client training programs and Planview functionality walkthroughs.
• Participate in client meetings and discussions to understand their business needs, challenges, and priorities.
• Assist in developing service improvement plans and initiatives for client accounts.
• Conduct regular health checks and performance assessments of client environments, including portfolio setup, configuration, and administration.
• Manage user access, security roles, and governance within client portfolios.
• Build reporting and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to give clients visibility into portfolio health, risk, and performance.
• Maintain positive, trusted relationships with customers through proactive communication and reliable service delivery.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in managed services, technical support, or SaaS application administration.
• Intermediate SQL skills (Oracle SQL or Microsoft SQL) and comfort troubleshooting web/application-tier issues (e.g., IIS).
• Working knowledge of project/agile/lean portfolio management concepts and tools (Planview, Clarity, CA PPM, JIRA, or similar).
• Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools, Power BI preferred.
• Basic understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as they relate to portfolio management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work independently as a subject matter expert for clients.
• Bachelor's degree or foreignequivalent, ordemonstrated equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work shifts aligned to supported customer time zones (e.g., US or European hours).
