Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for maintenance staff and other employees.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, strategies, and systems to ensure efficient operation of all equipment. This encompasses tool states such as Unscheduled Downtimes (UDT) and Scheduled Downtimes (SDT), as well as tool alarms for calculating MTBF and MTBA values.
• Utilize data analysis tools to track equipment performance metrics and generate reports to guide maintenance strategies and decision-making.
• Schedule and manage regular maintenance and repair work on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure functionality.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain accurate records of all activities and standards such as maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance reports. This also includes process-specific details such as HIRAC.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Strive to establish best practices, activity mapping, and workplace organization to enhance throughput, reduce inventory, improve preventive maintenance time, and decrease maintenance expenses.
• Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, initiating procurement when necessary.
• Manage preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and predictive maintenance jobs carried out in the field as per the planning and record keeping for the same.
