Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Directs daily operations, maintenance, and logistics to ensure efficient production.
• Production & Quality: Achieves output goals (e.g., tonnage, billet quality) and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
• Financial Control: Develops and manages plant budgets, controls operating costs, and optimizes fuel and power consumption.
• Team Leadership: Manages staff, conducts performance evaluations, and develops workforce capabilities.
• Technical Oversight: Ensures the smooth functioning of key units, including blast furnaces, induction furnaces, and rolling mills.

Required Experience and Skills

• Industry Expertise: Experience in integrated steel plants, sponge iron units, pellet plants, or rolling mills.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of steel manufacturing processes, specifically SMS (Steel Melting Shop) and DRI (Direct Reduced Iron).
