Job summary

Capgemini India in Hyderabad is seeking experienced PL/SQL Developers with strong Oracle Database expertise to join our team and help customers optimize enterprise applications. We are looking for 6 to 14 years of IT experience with hands-on work in PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL objects, analyze requirements, optimize queries, and support deployments, ensuring high-performance database operations

Qualifications

• 6 to 14 years of IT experience with strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on experience in PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, and Triggers, Complex SQL Queries, Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Data Modelling Concepts, Stored Procedures Development, Materialized View, Database Indexing Strategies, Exception Handling, Bulk Collect & FORALL.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture.
• Experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, or higher versions.
• Ability to analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Experience in database design, development, and support activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical database solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for high-performance applications.
• Perform data analysis, data migration, and database enhancement activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Create and maintain database schema objects, views, indexes, sequences, and materialized views.
• Perform performance tuning of SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and database objects.
• Support application development teams during integrations, releases, and deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide production support as needed.
