Job summary

JFE Engineering is seeking a senior piping design professional to lead a team of designers on E3D/PDMS projects. You will develop equipment and piping layouts, manage isometrics and foundation drawings, and ensure deliverables meet client requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of Aveva E3D/PDMS, regression of MTO, and 3D modeling, with emphasis on meeting project milestones and standards. Excellent communication in English is essential for global client interaction.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in E3D/PDMS piping design and 3D modeling.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and coordinate with clients.
• Strong knowledge of ASME/EN piping standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers for equipment, piping, and isometrics deliverables.
• Prepare and review 2D drawings and 3D models per client specs.
• Ensure compliance with ASME/EN standards and project standards.
• Coordinate with client and internal teams; monitor progress and reports.
• Develop Aveva E3D automation & macros.

Job description

• Capable of handling teams of designers & responsible for getting equipment-piping-support E3D modeling, stress analysis, PMS, MTO, support design, civil loading, piping layouts, isometrics, and foundation requirement 2D drawings were done from them.
• Excellent knowledge of the Aveva E3D / PDMS environment is a must.
• Capable of developing plot plan, equipment layout, and piping layout.
• Excellent knowledge of piping MTO management.
• Capable of checking all piping deliverables like layouts, isometrics, support drawings, civil loading drawings, foundation requirement drawings, etc. before submitting to the client & responsible for the same.
• Capable of developing Aveva E3D automation & macros.
• Required good knowledge of piping support type, support standard & primary-secondary support selection, special pipe support etc.
• Responsible for the plan, progress control, and report of piping design activities in the project.
• Capable of reading & understanding or preparing the project piping design basis based on client requirements.
• Conduct regular model reviews/meetings with team members to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
• Resolve the technical queries of subordinates/designers, guide them & conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Capable of piping component purchase activities (datasheets, MR, technical evaluation).

Skills:

• Must be conversant with ASME / EN standards.
• Knowledge of software like Aveva E3D/PDMS software, Navis Works, AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, etc.
• Knowledge-sharing attitude & team player.
• Excellent communication in English (Read, Write, and Speak).
