Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks an experienced Senior Piping Designer to join its offshore projects team. You will develop unit plot plans, equipment layouts, and process designs while ensuring piping integrity and mentoring junior designers.

This is a direct contract role with an initial 1-year duration and potential extension. Candidates should have a diploma in Mechanical or Chemical engineering and strong proficiency in E3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and MS Office, with

• 7–20 years of experience in piping design and related responsibilities.
• Experience on Offshore projects and ensuring design integrity.
• Direct contract role with initial duration of 1 year, potential extension.

Responsibilities

• Develop unit plot plans/equipment layouts/WHP/Process.
• Guide junior designers and ensure quality of piping deliverables.
• Review vendor packages and participate in ISO checks and back drafting.
• Prepare MTO and support layout optimization studies.
• Coordinate with offshore teams for FPSO/Fixed Platform projects.

KBR is looking for Senior Designer who possess experience in working within the piping design team on Offshore projects and ensuring piping design integrity is not compromised while managing the execution of the project.

This is a direct contract role with an initial duration of 1 year and the possibility of extension based on business requirements and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop unit plot plans/equipment layouts/WHP/Process
• Excellent knowledge in E3D, MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation
• Experience in Fixed Platform / FPSO is minimum requirement
• Good knowledge in mechanical handling concepts
• Good Knowledge of support selection and modelling. Special support drawing creation is preferable
• Knowledge in PML macros development will be considered an added advantage
• Good knowledge in ISO checking and back drafting and support ISO team on project needs
• Excellent skill to guide young designers
• Good knowledge in conceptual layout study
