Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Pipeline Integrity Specialist to provide technical and operational support for both onshore and offshore pipelines. You will drive integrity management, corrosion assessment, and risk analysis while coordinating with cross-functional teams on inspection and repair activities.

The role requires 6–15 years in oil & gas pipeline projects, knowledge of upstream/downstream domains, and proficiency with industry codes and pipeline software such as CAESAR,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Metallurgy, Chemical, Mechanical or Pipeline engineering.
• 6–15 years of oil & gas experience in related onshore/offshore pipeline projects.
• Sound knowledge of Oil & Gas upstream and downstream business areas.
• Risk Based Inspection methodologies familiarity.
• Knowledge of codes and standards like NACE, API, DNV, ASME.
• Proficiency with pipeline software CAESAR, OLGA, Pestra, Credo, Meridium.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and operational support and acts as pipeline integrity expert across operating areas.
• Holds expertise in Pipeline Integrity Management services including Corrosion Assessment and Risk Assessment.
• Reviews inspection and data reports for offshore pipelines and risers.
• Makes decisions on pigging for onshore and offshore pipelines.
• Optimizes cleaning frequency for pipelines and provides repair solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides technical and operational support and performs as technical pipeline integrity expert and ensures technical advisory support to all operating areas
• Experienced in Pipeline Integrity Management services, which encompass Corrosion Assessment, Risk Assessment, Inline Inspection Data Assessment, and has expertise in subsea ROV Surveys.
• Holds knowledge and experience in various Pipeline Inspection Activities, including ILI and NDT.
• Well-versed in the Operations and Fundamentals of Subsea Pipelines.
• Knowledgeable about the processes of Pipeline Commissioning and Decommissioning.
• Capable of reviewing inspection reports for Offshore Pipelines and Risers.
• Able to make decisions regarding operational and routine pigging for both Onshore and Offshore Pipelines.
• Proficient in optimizing the frequency of Pipeline Cleaning for Onshore and Offshore Pipelines.
• Experienced in providing Pipeline Repair Solutions for both Onshore and Offshore settings. Familiar with the Meridium system
• Knowledgeable in Risk-Based Inspections and the development of pipeline equipment strategies.
• Experienced in the execution of Pipeline Operation and Maintenance Projects.
• Capable of comprehending pipeline-related standards and codes such as NACE, API, DNV, or ASME.
• Possesses knowledge of Pipeline GIS and associated software.
• Drive core team membersto recruit skilled resources and train internal resources to build required competency

Work Experience

• Engineering degree in Metallurgy, Chemical, Mechanical OR Pipelineengineering
• 6-15 years of oil gas experience in related industry (Onshore/Offshore pipeline projects and design)
• Should have sound knowledge on Oil & Gas upstream and downstream business in the following areas
• Risk Based Inspection methodologies
• Fracture Mechanics, Flow Assurance, Stress Analysis
• Engineering assessment of different pipeline damage mechanisms
• Fixed equipment inspection tasks/ procedures
• Inspection Optimization
• Fitness for Service & Life extension studies
• Repair scope preparation
• Familiarity with codes and standards
• Knowledge of software (CAESAR, OLGA, Pestra, Credo, Meridium etc.)
