Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and isometric diagrams.
• Experience with TIG welding and joining pipes safely and accurately.
• Hands-on work with steam and industrial piping systems, testing and leak detection.
• Knowledge of safety standards, PPE usage, and safe handling of tools and materials.
• Previous pipefitting or similar industrial experience; relevant certification is a plus.
• On-site Delhi, India, with ability to stand, lift moderately, and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut piping to required lengths and fit joints securely.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Pipefitter role located in Delhi, India. The Pipefitter will install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include measuring and cutting pipes, fitting and securing joints, performing welding tasks as required, and testing systems for leaks and proper operation. The role involves working with steam and other industrial piping systems, coordinating with supervisors and other technicians, and maintaining tools and equipment in good condition. The Pipefitter will also follow all workplace safety procedures, participate in inspections, and support timely completion of project milestones.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in pipe installation and pipefitting work, including reading and interpreting technical drawings and isometric diagrams.


• Experience with welding techniques, including TIG welding, and the ability to prepare, align, and weld joints safely and accurately.


• Hands-on experience working with steam and industrial piping systems, including testing, troubleshooting, and leak detection.


• Knowledge of relevant safety standards, use of PPE, and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.


• Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar industrial or construction environment; vocational training or certification in pipefitting or welding is an advantage.


• Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working in varying environmental conditions.


• Good communication skills, ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and maintain accurate work documentation.
