Zydus Lifesciences in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, invites applications for Executive (Senior Scientific Assistant) / Sr. Executive (Research Associate) in the Pilot Plant department. The role involves hands-on process operations, equipment cleaning, and batch-record management, with direct reporting to the department head.

Ideal candidates hold MSc in Chemistry or BE in Chemical and will work on PQ/verification, line clearances, and QA-driven documentation under standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• M.Sc in Chemistry or B.E in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Relevant wet chemistry/industrial process knowhow is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform all process operations as per BMR.
• Clean equipment as per SOP, Procedure and PCR.
• Segregate raw materials, packing materials, intermediates in storage areas.
• Operate equipment such as reactors, filtration equipment, dryers, powder processing equipment.
• Ensure completion of performance qualification/verification of equipment.
• Submit completed batch records to QA for review and archival.
• Address QA review observations in batch records.
• Verify equipment and areas before line/area clearance; witness clearance.
• Generate in-process and other status labels as defined.
• Perform other assignments given by HOD per business needs.

Job description

Location: Ankleshwar, U-2

Responsibility:

• To perform all process operations as per BMR
• To clean all equipments as per cleaning SOP, Procedure and PCR
• Segregation of the raw materials, packing materials, intermediates in the manufacturing storage areas.
• Operate the equipment’s but not limited to, like reactor, filtration equipment, dryers, powder processing equipment
• Ensure completion of performance qualification /verification of the equipment as per the requirement.
• To ensure that the completed batch records are submitted back to QA for review and archival.
• To comply the review observations by QA in the batch records.
• To verify the equipment and areas before line/area clearance activities and witness the clearance.
• Generation of the in process and other status labels and affixing the same as per defined procedure.
• Any other assignments given by HOD as per business requirements.
